Jay-Z will perform the halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium. The 14-minute set marks a return to the Super Bowl stage for the rapper, who has not headlined the slot since 2018. The performance is booked for Super Bowl LX, but the two teams that will play in the game have not been determined.

The selection follows a production arrangement Jay-Z's company, Roc Nation, entered with the NFL in 2019. Roc Nation has produced the halftime show every year since. Under that partnership, Jay-Z has served as a decision-maker on the performers who appear during the break, and for this cycle he selected himself.

The league will determine the participating teams after the conference championship games. That schedule sets the matchup for the final day of January, two weeks before the game itself in Inglewood, California.

Guest performers remain part of the production plan, though none have been announced. Halftime sets frequently include additional artists. Four performers have been discussed in connection with the 2027 show based on their prior work with Jay-Z.

Beyoncé has recorded several tracks with Jay-Z, including "Crazy in Love" from 2003, "Drunk in Love," "Deja Vu" and "Lift Off." The two toured together. She has performed at the Super Bowl before, appearing in the 2016 halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, and singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001 in Houston. On Christmas Day 2024, she performed at halftime in Houston in a game that drew the label "Beyoncé Bowl."

Jay-Z met Rihanna in 2005, when he was CEO of Def Jam Records and she auditioned for him. She moved to Roc Nation in 2010. The two have recorded "Umbrella," "Run This Town" and "FourFiveSeconds" together. Rihanna joined Jay-Z onstage at Yankee Stadium during his current tour earlier this year. She headlined the halftime show in 2023 and announced her pregnancy during that performance.

Blue Ivy Carter, the oldest child of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, danced during Beyoncé's Christmas Day 2024 halftime performance in Houston and appeared as a dancer on the Cowboy Carter tour. She has attended NFL games with her father.

Eminem performed with Jay-Z on the current tour. The two recorded "Renegade" for Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. Eminem appeared as a guest during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2019 under its agreement with the NFL. The Feb. 14, 2027 show at SoFi Stadium is the next production in that series.
