Fantasy NBA: Time to Trade Jerome
Early-season data suggests moving the Grizzlies guard and dropping the 36-year-old Warriors veteran.

Fantasy managers should consider trading Ty Jerome while his value remains high. The Memphis Grizzlies guard scored 45 points against the Utah Jazz on opening night. He followed that performance with 28 points and five assists against the Golden State Warriors. Although he is rostered in 89.7% of ESPN leagues, analysts suggest he is a prime trade target before his shooting pace declines.
Dennis Schroder offers value on the waiver wire. The Charlotte Hornets point guard has played for 12 different teams in his career. He recorded 25 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three three-pointers in a game against Miami. He is currently rostered in only 9.7% of leagues. His role may change when Coby White returns from a calf strain, but Schroder provides immediate production for teams needing assists and points.
Jalen Smith is emerging as a reliable forward for the Chicago Bulls. He has scored 14 or 15 points in each of his first three games. He also averages 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. The Bulls are thin at center, with Zach Collins and Tobe Awaka seeing limited minutes. Smith is rostered in 22.8% of leagues. He could see around 25 minutes of action if he stays healthy, though Nic Claxton is expected to return from a hamstring injury.
Myles Turner is struggling for the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored zero points in a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Over three games, he averages 7.7 points and 4.3 rebounds. His playing time dropped to 20 minutes in Saturday's game due to foul trouble. Kel'el Ware provided a strong alternative with 19 points and 13 rebounds in 29 minutes. Turner remains rostered in 52.4% of leagues, but his status may become precarious if the coaching staff favors Ware.
Draymond Green is a candidate for the waiver wire. The 36-year-old Golden State Warriors forward scored a combined seven points in his first two games. He also recorded two blocks, one steal, and one three-pointer. He sat out the second night of a back-to-back schedule. He is rostered in 26.7% of leagues. Analysts suggest dropping him in favor of players like Jalen Smith, Yaxel Lendeborg, or Wendell Carter Jr. His production does not currently justify a roster spot in most leagues.
